Welding industry

Our customers are active in the field of welding materials for repairs, maintenance and wear protection through hadfacing welding and thermal spraying. We supply semi-finished products (strips) made of pure nickel, nickel-based, cobalt and chromium steel for the production of flux cored wires and electrodes. 

Fields of application for welding filler materials: 
  • hardfacing welding of cast iron, ferritic and austenitic steels

Wind energy

The generation of electrical energy with wind turbines is by far the most important use today. In the case of renewable energies, copper and aluminum have a wide range of applications.

We supply copper / aluminum wires with round and flat cross sections and with a wide variety of insulations (varnish, mica mylar, kraftpaper, nomex, fiberglass, kapton).


Our products are used in the wind turbine as follows:

  • the stator and rotor windings of the generator
  • the power cables
  • the transformers and the electrical grounding

Automotive, electromobility

Electromobility should be an essential key factor for achieving the climate goals (less emissions of Co²). In addition to the raw materials for the battery, such as lithium, nickel and cobalt, the demand for copper products in particular has increased significantly. 

We supply flat enameled copper wires for the following applications:
  • Busbars
  • Batteries
  • Transmissions (Gears) / Axles
Metallic busbars of various sizes and designs are essential for distributing energy from the battery to motors, drives, axles and other devices.

Aerospace

Titanium and titanium alloys are the suitable material to fullfill the high requirements in the aerospace industry in terms of strength and corrosion resistance in relation to the specific weight  As a result, there are different applications like:

  • smaller mechanically processed structural components
  • supporting parts in fuselage
  • blades in the engines
  • turbines
  • cell construction


For this purpose, we supply semi-finished products made of Ti6Al4V / according to AMS 4928 with the material number 3.7164 to the suppliers of the aircraft manufacturers who produce parts for civil aviation.

Offshore

Fixed structures constructed in the open sea off the coast are referred to as offshore structures. These include for example: 
  • Drilling platforms

Our delivery program includes titanium and high-strength, corrosion-resistant materials (nickel-based alloys, duplex stainless steels) for challenging operating environments in the oil and gas industry as well as surface and underwater applications.

Electrotechnology & electronics

As essential components of many devices, soft-magnetic special materials are among the neccessary solutions of modern electrical engineering and electronics.

We keep on stock strips and sheets of soft magnetic materials (nickel-iron, eg MUMETALL®, cobalt-iron, eg VACOFLUX®) for shielding. We also offer shielding parts based on drawings.


Our semi-finished products and parts are used in the following productions:

Medical

Titanium is used with preference in medical technology due to its favorable biomedical properties - mechanical inertia and corrosion resistance to body fluids and tissue, high strength-to-weight ratio. 

We supply semi-finished products made of Ti6Al4V Gr.5 ELI / according to F136 with the material number 3.7165 for the production of:

  • surgical instruments
  • implants for fracture fixation
